Today’s writing tip-Stuck on an article? Try a writing prompt

It happens to all of us at least once. We’re sitting at our computer ready to write an awesome and informative article and our brain is totally blank.

Now if this hasn’t happened to you yet you’re one of the fortunate ones. If it does happen, here’s one suggestion: use writing prompts to help get you started. I know some of you may be wondering, well what is a writing prompt and how can it jump start my writing? I’m so glad you asked.

Basically a writing prompt asks you to write a piece about a certain word or a certain phrase. This helps you in the writing process because it turns on that right brain of yours and helps you get creative.

Where can you find writing prompts? One good source of writing prompts is this squidoo lens: The Write Prompt. This lens is updated every Sunday. I find awesome prompts that help me when I get stuck.
