My thoughts on attending an online university
A few years ago I received my Associate’s Degree from Kaplan University, an online university. I chose to go to an online university instead of a traditional brick and mortar university because I was working part time. I wanted to be able to have a flexible school schedule so I could be available to work more hours.
I enjoyed going to an online university and I would highly recommend going to an online school if you have multiple responsibilities that would make going to a traditional university difficult. Make sure you check out the school’s accreditation before you choose a school. Also see if you can find any graduates to tell you what their experience was with the school.
I can’t say whether or not going to an online university is right for you. If you can’t discipline yourself and need the structure of a classroom, then this might not be the right move for you. If you learn better on a computer and are self disciplined enough to do your work and attend the online lectures, then this may be an excellent opportunity for you to finally finish that degree.
